Portman Ob/Gyn, established in 1966, is dedicated to the personal medical care of Central Ohio women. Dr David Portman graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University and completed his medical school and obstetric and gynecology training with honors at The Ohio State University. A third-generation physician and 5th generation Columbusite, Dr Portman has been in practice for 17 years after joining his father Dr Samuel Portman who served the Columbus community for 30 years. Dr David Portman is similarly committed to his patients and the community in which he serves. He is a clinical researcher and Director of The Columbus Center for Women's Health Research and widely recognized nation-wide as a leader in the field of menopause, osteoporosis, contraception and gynecologic surgery. He is a Clinical Instructor at The Ohio State University.
